Utah and birthdays

One of the fun things we did in Utah was Ryan's mom had a birthday for everyone!! Well actually she had 4! The girls had one and the guys, then the older kids had one (with a very successful money hunt!) and then the 4 and under had one...

equipped with a very excellent amount of bubbles to go around for as long as they could stand popping them

then of course we had presents..

Mckinley thought her cute pants were for her head (have any of you ever read the Sandra Boynton book like that...red..blue...yellow...oops, anyway, cute book)

Some of the kids got matching clothes so we tried a picture...and you know how it goes!

Mckinley and her cousin one month apart...matching suit and swimsuit cover :)

Mckinley now wants to do and be everywhere that Harrison is...it is so fun to watch!
Then the last bday celebrated was Ryan's Grandpa's 90th bday...he is still amazing and got an iphone for his bday and can do anything on the computer that our generation can do. He really is an angel too.
i tried to get mckinley to sit on his lap but not happening so this was as close as I could get so they could remember their great grampa!

Utah

We were able to go to Utah for the last couple of weeks! We had so much fun and was able to visit friends and family and more family! I didn't get out my camera like I should have because I didn't get many pics of all the people we saw but it was so good see everyone and see some places that we missed! We drove all night Friday night and got there as the sun was coming up over the valley, very nostalgic! We lived there the first 8 years of our marriage!

The first stop was to visit Kennedy. Harrison always asks if she will be there, but of course that starts a long explanation...which then he brings up seeing Heaven and Keven (my little bro. I think that he has gotten confused between the two names!)
It was very hot there so water was around a lot! Here is Ry's brother with their little guy that's Mckinley's age testing out the water.
Then of course Harrison seeing an opportunity to jump...does not hold back!

Swimming with the cousins and Grandma

Really, can you get any cuter?
This is Harrison's only cousin his age...and they had so much fun getting into mischief. Harrison was so sad to see her go home!

Mckinley pics/heart update

As a heart update: About a week ago, Mckinley had another echo. She is older now and wasn't thrilled to have the u/s machine on her chest but they let me hold her and she survived, with a few tears and and a very sad lower lip :(. But all is good because her heart is looking good! Her vessels are growing, no scar tissue buildup, and she is handling not having the pulmonary valve great! We are so excited!!

Picture update: In my house I have two square frames that have 9 pics in them. One of them has 9 faces of Kennedy, the other has 9 pics of Harrison as a newborn. I was going to try and have one for each child but since Mckinley's surgery I wasn't able to get some newborn ones, so I decided to have Jenny take some face pics at the park that I could use as 9 faces like Kennedy's...so Jenny jumped, laughed, danced, made funny faces, noises and pretty much did everything but stand on her head to get Mckinley to smile...which I totally believe paid off! Here are a few of my fav's...(harrison helped at the end and actually was a little bit distracted but ended up with a few cute ones too :)!) Thanks Jenny!!!!

Mckinley's First Bday!

Since we all had pneumonia when Mckinley turned one I thought I could throw in a post for her first birthday in March (so it will be in my book :)!)

She had some hugs,
some races to win,

Some hands to hold,

one friend to feed,
one candle to memorize her,
one cupcake to play with,

one beautiful face to clean,
one brother to help open presents with,

one healthy happy heart year :)!!!!!
xoxo babycakes...
