soccer: Spring 2011

Another try at Soccer for Harrison. This time we did it with his friends Jack and Oliver, and they had a lot of fun playing soccer, and sometimes staying at the park to play afterwards.

Harrison and Jack being goaly
Running playing pull the flag...which Harrison ran a lot faster doing that then ever playing soccer! He had fun playing soccer but, I guess I don't see him just loving it and wanting to continue forever. So we'll keep on trying!

Soccer: Fall 2010

Harrison played soccer again this Fall and loved it. He has a lot of fun. He doesn't always go for the ball...I think just has fun running around...but that is what's great at this age! I am not looking forward to competative sports and really I don't think he is cut out for them either. At least he can have fun now!

I LOVE SOCCER! (Mckinley wanted to get into the action but had to stay on the sidelines and drink her water!)

Harrison's illustrious soccer career

We signed Harrison up for soccer for the first time this Spring and Thursday was his last day. He had so much fun! Though he didn't know what he was doing half the time but he had a blast!

check out that move...

So everyone took turns being the goaly...
...and this is about as exciting as it got for him (luckily...he really didn't know what to do!)

But he loved running around with everyone
...sometimes chasing after the ball and sometimes who knows where he was going!

Kicking goals

"Remember, the #1 rule in soccer...NO HANDS!"
"We Love Soccer!!"

I realized that next time I sign him up for a sport, I should really explain the rules and the game to him before he plays...I mean it's only fair I guess!
