Christmas Eve in Utah

One of the important things we did in Utah this Christmas was on Christmas Eve, we went down to Spanish Fork and had Christmas with Great Grandma and Grandpa Stewart. He suddenly started going down hill so we new that this would be his last Christmas.

Grandpa Linton reading a book to the kids
Stephanie and Mckinley goofing off
Grandpa Stewart opening his Christmas presants
This is all of Ryan Mom's family (except one brother could make it). I love how harrison is in the middle of the room with his legs in the air as we open presents with Grandpa.

We love you Grandpa!
Another important discovery tonight was that of Hot Chocolate...Mckninley's first and most decidedly NOT last cup!

Christmas in CA

We were flying to Utah for Christmas this year so we decided to open my parents presents in CA first while they could watch on Skype! it was so fun! My parents loved to see them and their reactions like they were really there on Christmas morning!!

Harrison was even happy to get clothes this year!
I love Mckinley's reaction..."ooohhhh"

You can kind of see my Mom and Dad on the computer screen watching as the kids open up there presents, skype, such a wonderful thing!

Riding her butterfuly pillow pet!

I think this house for Mckinley was the hit of the day. Both her and Harrison flushed and flushed the toilet. It is a little house and there are things all over inside that make a sound like they are working.
Thanks Mom and Dad! Your amazing! Merry Christmas!

Church Christmas party

The beginning of December we had our church Christmas party. Before we left the kids were playing with our shoes and walking around (shoes are a fav of Mckinley)

Mckinley has a very interesting hair situation right now with a mullet growing in the back and the sides short...so if I pull it into pigtails then it looks like she has some hair...hopefully it will start to grow in more even!
(and yes, the floor is a mess, very typical of a Saturday night...)
Harrison was very excited to see Santa tonight. He was whispering all the wonderful surprises he wanted to find Christmas morning...
And it looks like he is listening to his instructions...
Mckinley decided against the interchange.
Daddy growing a little facial hair for work.
Mckinley very intent on picking her brownie to pieces.
A fairy decided to join us.

Thanksgiving

We decided to stay home for Thanksgiving this year so we had a 2 families (Walkers and Johnsons) that were "homeless" too come over to eat with us! I cooked the turkey, rolls, sweet potatoes and stuffing. The turkey was a little dry I thought but everything was so fun with the families to share it with!

Mckinley of course didn't want a picture done!

a friend let us borrow her Puky (bike) and the kids love it!! I it perfect for Mckinley!

they kept their hats on for the pic...and that was about it...someday they will realize that the hats/coats are good things.

some Fall pics...

Another museum we went to in Oakland sounded so fun on the website but when we got there it was a little hole in the wall not so fun place. But we made the best of it and surrounded but a ton of other kids we let them all it. They painted, decorated and made weird crafts to their hearts content. Though both kids got sick after it, not suprisingly after how clean the place was and the amount of sick kids stuffed into a small room, and decided that we would have to stop the museum going for the time being.

Artist...Harrison, Adri, James
This is the end of our street and the kids were playing in the leaves with a neighbor.

The kids then were swapping cars and it was so fun to see Mckinely go...NO FEAR!

One day we went to Lafayette Reservoir, we played at the park and there was a tree with some leaves so i tried to take a few pics of the kids but it was sunny and they weren't cooperating (plus I can't take pics...) so this is what I got.

Soccer: Fall 2010

Harrison played soccer again this Fall and loved it. He has a lot of fun. He doesn't always go for the ball...I think just has fun running around...but that is what's great at this age! I am not looking forward to competative sports and really I don't think he is cut out for them either. At least he can have fun now!

I LOVE SOCCER! (Mckinley wanted to get into the action but had to stay on the sidelines and drink her water!)
